The Energy Center of the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of the University of Chile works and collaborates with different institutions.
In the PUBLIC SECTOR, the CE-FCFM has supported the development of technical inputs for the creation and discussion of national, regional and territorial public policies. It has participated and organized working groups for the Energy Policy 2050 of the Ministry of Energy. It has been the technical and academic counterpart of dialogue processes that have culminated in public policies on energy efficiency, incorporation of renewable energies and climate change, among others.
In the PRIVATE SECTOR, the Energy Center has supported technical, commercial and innovation projects, ranging from the development of prototypes of isolated energy systems, to quantifying the effect of energy costs in the strategic development plan of a company. We use validated methodologies and tools recognized by the market as well as the proposal and development of new ones.
