Description

Social-environmental development connects contemporary society problems with academic, scientific and technical developments carried out by the different research lines of Centro de Energía. For this purpose, we circumscribe our tasks in two ways: interdisciplinarity, as the focal point between the different specialties at the Center; and co-construction as a hinge between local knowledge of the communities we work with and the technical knowledge developed at the University. Thus, we seek relevance and sustainability throughout all project stages, integrating historical, cultural, political and environmental dimensions while addressing subjects such as adaptation, mitigation and resilience to climate change, territorial governance and social welfare in all their different dimensions.
