Energy, power and ancillary services marketer

In the context of the modernization of distribution and the draft Electricity Portability Law, the objective of this study is to identify and propose the regulatory and normative changes necessary for the correct interaction of the energy trader to end users in the wholesale market of energy, power and complementary services. Based on a review of international markets and comparative analysis, ways to implement the integration of commercialization and aggregation of distributed resources at national level are proposed, including proposals to improve the economic efficiency of the sector in different areas such as market monitoring, incorporation of new markets, agents and improvement of the wholesale market. The study “Analysis for the design and implementation, in the wholesale market, of the energy marketer to end users in distribution” was prepared for the National Energy Commission during the year 2020.
